Stay Awake
Learn the language of the clients - Customer services must create consistent languages and messaging for a career to be successful. The CS must listen, learn, and adapt the language he or she hears from the client. In this manner, the best services and products will deliver. This is also when the clients describe their needs for a specific products, as well as creative ideas about doing business and the clients will believe in you can do.
Usually, once we show our services and talk about why we do that is will sense of purpose of serving clients. I always stand in the clients perspective to see thing. Look at the values you can add to your clients. From problem to solution, show them your process and always keep innovate business practices. Every day is a new day, try to bring something extra to the table.
Count The Words
When writing, it is important to be mindful of the number of words you use. As a designer, it's our job to please our readers, and the best way to do that is by managing how many words we write per day. The word count and the text give you an idea of how your content is shaping up. However, you should also consider how the structure of your content can be tailored to engage your audience.
For instance, the wording you use should be translated into different languages, and you should highlight the important words. It is also important to avoid overwriting, as it can make the content difficult to read.
Let Briefing Tell A Story
A book can tell a short story, and a briefing can also tell a visual story. If given an opportunity to design a book, I would tell a story that allows readers to experience the pleasure of storytelling. As a storyteller, my fundamental goal is to deliver a clear message that inspires others.
While we can’t predict the future, I see how the chatbot program tells a story today. Do we really want it to write for the future? I believe that to tell a compelling story, we need to have a feeling for how to touch our souls and minds.
Let Them Know What’s On The Menu
It's rare for great ideas to just fall from the sky. However, we often overlook small details that are crucial to the process of conducting important work. When working on designs, I suggest including images or illustrations to add visual interest to your text messages and elevate the objective of the write-up.
Providing small projects to engage with ongoing work can build trust and add value to the content. Working diligently and staying creative is the fun part.
Getting One Thing Right
INTRODUCTION
A lot of brands don’t make it because, in the process of trying to get many things right, in the end, they don’t get anything right. A great brand is a privilege, and it’s a privilege best earned through an item, not through a collection. Designers and companies and founders think about collections. Consumers think about items.
That’s why the best way to start is by getting one thing right. So that you can go from product one to product two. Take as much time as you need to develop one product right, and prove it works - because if you don’t, no one is going to buy your next product too.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of delivering this message is because I am going to propose one item and also the key design elements SLEEK needs to spark. Developing Guidelines > After many years in the design business, I always say to clients that the guidelines are there for two reasons - consistency and creativity. Consistency is about showing the core toolkit elements, such as logo, colour codes, font selection, tone of voice, and creative headlines, whereas creativity is about showing how those elements come together, and how they’re used. Guidelines will benefit clients whether they’re producing something in-house or they’re working with another company.
One of the best ways to prepare guidelines is to show as many best-practice contextual applications as possible. Because of these guidelines, clients can see what their advertising can look like, how their social media profiles and messages can appear, and so on. To summarize, guidelines aren’t rules, they should enable creativity.
DESIGN PROCESS
When the design process is clear, the chances of success will be high, because we all know what we need to do and won’t be distracted. The trick is to simply seek to understand the client’s brand and vision. Therefore, we need to have a lot of conversations and correspondence to understand everyone's direction. Sometimes, we do some research and generate ideas.
If we ever find ourselves unable to think of different approaches, we walk away. We do something else. We don’t think about the project for a while. Sometimes the break can be as quick as a pop-up magic solution.
VISUAL DESIGN
Once we decide on the visual design of the brand guidelines (new logo, corporate colour, pair of fonts, tag headline, and sub-headline). We have to communicate our plan to our ideal clients to launch a new identity for the business entrepreneur. This includes uploading file formats such as PDF, JPG, and PNG on the website for the client's resources. Moving forward, we will create a design template that includes: Newsletter, Poster, Website, Sales Document, Marketing Materials, and so on. All these need time to manage.
OUTCOME
This idea could make a positive impact on Sleek people and start-up customers who care about our brand and marketing communication. And yet, it could also interest people to learn a technique of brand guidelines. On the other hand, it’s important to clarify the thinking behind an identity because this gives direction to its usage. To push clients forward with a particular creativity and innovation system.
The Art of Perseverance
We often say that good work has vitality. It is like the sunshine on the white clouds and blue sky, and the breeze in the spring, which can enlighten the mind and warm the soul. Art is aesthetics, what motivates us to see things differently.
I have been fond of art since I was a child. Painting is another way to express my soul, expressing what I see and think. I was born in Malaysia. When I was young, I didn't have good conditions to learn to draw. I could only doodle with a pen, and draw trees, birds, and tall buildings. Later, my mother felt that I was talented, so she found a teacher for me, took me to see art exhibitions, and sent me to study in the UK when I grew up so that my interest could continue.
During my study in the UK, I felt like I was opened to another world, where there are art masters such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, and so on. I wandered into their spiritual world, perceiving the power of art. Know that everything is not easy. The learning process is not that smooth, often because of the imperfection of a painting, I can't let go for a long time; I will also be ridiculed mercilessly by my class-mates because of the last homework; I will encounter the bottleneck period of creation, late I was sad because I couldn't come out late, but I didn't give up, so I was in the best state of mind and body.
After graduation, I started to step into the real world. Over time, my work develops a personal style. I like to leave blanks for my works, taking "empty" as reality, and "simplicity" but not empty. Art allows us to develop our imagination out of nothing. Only those who truly love life are those who understand art. Thank you for making me brave to be myself, to say what I want to say, and to always keep my love for art.
How to be a designer? 2023...
Read a book by Micheal Bierut (Graphic Designer) to get a sense of how to be a graphic designer. Micheal Bierut shared something valuable he learned ten years into his career: “Just keep practicing designing.” Of course, having a clear vision and purpose is essential.
What is good about being a designer? I keep asking myself this question. This is a fulfilling profession that provides access to exclusive information. It is a meaningful job because it allows people to view things from a fresh perspective. To excel in design, you must have a genuine interest and passion for your work. Believing in something that can benefit others is important. Additionally, it's crucial to make your work visible and encourage people to spend time on it. My teacher gave me valuable advice for my career: keep doing it, keep doing it, keep doing it, until the ideas flow.
When you engage in design work, you have the opportunity to showcase your creativity to the wider market and receive feedback from others on how you have transformed your original creations. After approval, you are free and in full control of your work. You need really to be an organised person that has time management skills to work on deadlines and budgets.
When your work is finally delivered, it can bring you joy to have collaborated with fellow creatives such as writers, illustrators, photographers, type designers, organizers, and distributors. You may find that you are working with people who appreciate design but don't fully grasp how it works. It's important to be able to explain and showcase your abilities to others, and to believe in your greatness.
During my second year at design school, I learned about the crucial connection between designers and their clients in marketing and communication. I learned that graphic design is magical and it's crucial to generate new ideas that can attract and inspire my clients. This lesson educated me on the importance of design in making beauty functional.
Designing a book isn't just about filling a blank page with images and layout. A skilled designer considers various perspectives to create a visually appealing and memorable book. It's common to experience creative blocks but remember that with persistence, your design can take many forms. As long as you achieve a balance. Let your design fill with a butterfly mind. So you go back and begin again. Open elegantly. Open positively. Open bright. Open with surprise. Open with everything from your heart. The interesting will continue to happen.
White Papers
White Paper often described in the political argument to recognize the value of art and culture. However, for me, White Paper is a new generation. We need to identify, nurture and develop this new talent from an early age. So, providing children and young people with the highest quality cultural education is vitally important. Every child should be able to enjoy great art and culture for its own sake. School subjects such as art and design, dance, drama, and music should be seen as entertaining optional extras. They give White Paper (young people) knowledge and skills that will help them build careers that are creatively and economically valuable.
Draw line
A first line should open your mind. It should reach in and twist your heart moving. I look forward to every exciting day to come, to see the world it will never be the same again. The opening line should be fresh and active. It should move your story, your idea, your play, forward. Sometimes is based on your tone of the opening line. Give me some time to hang out with you. But remember to take it easy, life is meaningful. Achieve a balance. Let the story unfold. So you go back and begin again. Open elegantly. Open positively. Open bright. Open with surprise. Open with everything from your heart. Relax into the tension of the noisy city. The first line, like the first step, try walking a bit by bit. Eventually, you might a quarter-mile in the sky.

Revisit National Gallery Singapore.
Five years ago, in mid-2016, I used to work at the National Gallery Singapore, and the journey of my humble working experience is still in my memory. Usually, when visiting the gallery there are two things we need to find out. First, where are the masterpieces? And second, where is the cafe located? Writing this column is to fully provide some tips to rewarding visitors. Here are 3 tips we should take note of.
1. When walking in the gallery, my big thing is: don’t rush. I will consciously slow down as I enter a gallery. Looking at art, however, involves a lot of stopping and standing wondering what the art pieces are trying to illustrate. From experience, I suggest that when you visit the gallery, to take the guide book of the gallery and form a plan of where you should walk first. Though, keep walking until you see the piece of art you like. I try to figure out why it looks odd, fascinating, or seductive. It raises questions, and I try to answer them.
2. The gallery is also a place where you can meet friends even though it is a silent place to visit. Sometimes, I will go with my friends, but I prefer looking at art by myself. I’m delighted to go with other people, but I’ll go around the exhibition on my own, and after we’ll regroup and discuss. Other times, I also will pass by the gallery cafe to meet the art lovers in the gallery. There’s something very special about sharing and viewing a piece of artwork with a completely different perspective as well as grasp.
3. The gallery is powerful for learning about and enjoying art, as it possesses the greatest masterpieces on earth. The masterpieces capture most visitors' attention, and yet visitors can find many ways of perceiving them. It is the soul of the gallery. Looking at the masterpieces is like chewing gum sticking on the inside of your brain. So, take out your camera to capture the nature, strangeness, colours, people, culture, and spirit of the art.
